I love taking Abbey to the park and seeing such encouraging words.. some of them truly are words of wisdom.. wait for your 1 true love:)

Swimming Lessons:)

Today I signed Abbey up for swimming lessons, because she isn't 2 yet we get to do the mommy and me class! I am excited cause I love swimming, and I hope Abbey likes to swim too! I am mostly excited to have something to do for 2 weeks to pass the time till we go to Hawaii.. i am getting really excited to play in the water, and get a matsumotos:)

Happy Easter

We decorated easter eggs a little early this year, we have to use the days lane has off wisely, cause he doesn't get very many:) Abbey and Lane had a blast, we had these really cool q-tip type things that had dye in them, and Abbey used them it was nice to not have a huge mess to clean up, i could only imagine what would have happened had we had cups full of dye.. this worked good for us till she is a little older, she loves to color so it was no surprise that she loved coloring on the eggs!

Then we went to a local easter egg hunt, and it was really lame, we were lucky to get one egg.. there were too many kids and not enough eggs! But we were lucky to get an egg, we saw alot of little kids crying cause they didn't get any!! We are excited for the easter bunny to come and hide eggs in our back yard! I think it is really fun being the easter bunny and seeing how excited she gets! I can't wait till she really understands it all, she is definitally getting there!  

In other news... we are getting excited for Hawaii next month! We can't wait to see Keara and her family! And spend some time on the beach and just have really good family time! Lane really deserves this trip, he works his butt off and alot of the time it goes unnoticed! He can hardly wait to go deep sea fishing! Truly I would be so happy to just sit at the beach and go get Matusmotos every day! Ah.. i can't wait!

We are in our second trimester now:) YEAH! Maybe just maybe I will start feeling better, I was sick with Abbey, but this is a totally different sick and I now question why I was so jealous of other pregnant women, maybe once I start to look more pregnant not just heafty (although i lost 6lbs last month) I feel huge, and actually getting bigger gets me excited! It will be a long summer! We hope everyone has a really fantastic Easter Sunday!

Week 13

I am almost out of the first trimester.. i have never been more happy for something in my life! I don't remember being this sick with Abbey! Maybe I was and that is just the miracle of having a baby, you don't remember the bad things! I am also so excited, and so nervous, I know that it will be a totally new experience, and that just because I have had a baby doens't mean that the second one will be any easier.. thats probably what makes me nervous, i definitally remember the hard times i had with Abbey, and now it won't be just one! I am also more excited, because of the same things.. i miss her just being a baby, and am so excited to meet our next!

Abbey has changed so much in the last couple weeks.. she has gotten taller, so much taller, all her pants are now floods, so we are patiently waiting for it to be warmer weather so she can wear her shorts:) She talks so much, and is putting words together! Makes life a little easier! She can say pretty much anything that we tell her to say.. its really fun! She can count to 10, and sorta say her ABC's with alot of help, but she has become so independent! Makes for really fun times at any store! We have been working outside alot lately, enjoying the nice 60 degree weather, (until the last 2 days) She has her own rake and shovel and has been helping get all the leaves into a pile.. I just keep watching her and thinking she is such a sweet girl, she loves to cuddle and will hug and kiss anyone who needs a hug! She is alot like Lane i think, she is very stubborn VERY, but is the sweetest girl! She loves boys, we have a friend with 2 little boys Parker and Payton, she adores them, we were playing over there a few days ago, and she came running out of their room with a giant sword, and was chasing these poor boys! I can't believe my sweet girl likes to play with boy toys! Loves them way more than any of her dolls or princess toys! Really strange! Here are a few pictures, we took some the other day when we were outside, we had just gotten home from Wallsburg, and she didn't have pants on, so we just put her shoes on so she didn't hurt her feet.. she usually ALWAYS wears pants outside!

Where did she go?

Seriously... where did she go.. really in 4 months she turns 2.. seriously.. i am having a bit of a holy cow moment today!

We LOVE Yo Gabba Gabba in our house, and this weekend is Will I Am's Birthday, its a hat party so we got Abbey a SWEET hat! I can't believe I am putting this up here.. she looks like a dork! She loves the hat and glasses she wore them ALL night!

I had the BEST day with you.. today!

We went sledding for my birthday, it was so fun, I felt like I was 5 again! It really was the best birthday I have had for as long as I can remember! Except maybe our surprise visitors for dinner.. that was interesting! Abbey still has battle wounds from being bitten and falling off the bed! I think that our little cousin is going to make her scared of kids, at church the next day, a little girl we were sitting by wanted her to come play, she went to give her a hug and touched her bite mark on her stomach and abbey fell to the ground screaming!
