A Wedding and A Little Mickey Mouse

It has been a crazy 2 or 3 weeks, and we are now just getting back into our normal lives..

Lane's brother Landon got married on the 7th and it was a cold cold snowy rainy day but it was such a beautiful wedding! While we were waiting to take pictures we caught Grandma Julie and Abbey catching rain drops! She is such a great Grandma and I feel very lucky to have her as my mother in law! She is really something special!

 They had a luncheon after the wedding and these are 2 of my most favorite boys ever!

 Kyndra and Me.. I swear I got so lucky.. i love her so much! I am so lucky to have her as my sister!

 There is nothing like going to someones wedding to really remember your wedding and how special they are! Landon and Micall had a really great ceremony and while we were listening I just remembered Lane and I's wedding ceremony and how special it was.. i remember it like it was yesterday! I adore Laner.. he is the best thing that has ever happened to me:)

 The next day we took off to Disneyland for the 2nd time this year:) We drove to Victorville and crashed at an interesting place to say the least.. this little girl loves her picture taken.. i have at least 2 dozen that look just like this!

 These 3 kiddos sat in the back and watched movies, and giggled all the way to California:)

 Laner and Lu.. neither of my kiddos love the water so much they would play in it for a few minutes and then they both like to hang out in the sun.. wierd i know but i like to sit in the sun more than swim so i guess its fair!

 These 2 cute girls are just a month and a half apart in age, and for a while didn't get along so well.. but that stage has seemed to pass, and they are good buddies now:)

 I love him:) We have come a long way! Its wierd to see us getting older!! I saw a picture of us on one of our first dates and man I thought i looked the same.. but i was wrong.. i am looking older its a really cool thing to see how much we have grown up together!

 We had such a blast and were so happy that we got to spend so much time with our family! We love them so much and hate that we live where we can't see them more often, so it was fun to have a week full of just quality family time:)

At the Color of Wonder show.. if you are going anytime soon.. DON'T MISS IT:) Its awesome!

We have a Christmas trip scheduled that we can't wait for!!

Lane and Meg!

 We have been so busy this month! We have a huge apple tree in our back yard, last year we didn't have any apples on it but this year.. we have tons! My grandma Cowley came over for an afternoon and helped us make some apple jelly! I have never done it, and in my family Grandma's apple jelly is something to be fought over!! More than having a pantry full of apple sauce and apple jelly I am so grateful for my Grandma being so close and for playing such a big part in my children's lives these last couple years! I am so blessed to have her as more than just my grandma but one of my best friends!  My sweet Grandma didn't want to make our house hot, so we made jelly out on our grill! She has so much knowledge i just wish i had enough time to learn it all!!

 Lane is busy with work more now than ever i think! He has been working so hard to get an Assistant Manager postion at work and once again we are waiting to hear if this one comes through! We will see:)

Any extra time is spent "slaving" over my honey do list as he puts it:) We have finished a lot of our projects on our house and it makes me so happy:)

 I am so thankful for Laner.. he is my best friend.. the one i was made for! I know that sometimes its hard, and that things don't always go the way you want them to, but we will always have each other and that is more important than anything else in this world:)

 I am so grateful for the dad he is and for the great example of a man he is teaching our girls to find when they get older! He is a great leader of our family! He is always thinking of everyone but him, and lets be honest he is the only man in a house hold full of girls and that takes alot of patience!!

 I am glad he has stuck with me through everthing, and am so proud of our girls and the life we are creating!

Abbey

Abbey starts Preschool this week, and I am feeling a little crazy about it, makes me a little bit sick actually! I know it will be good for her, just makes me a little queesy!  She is changing so fast and it makes me really realize that I won't have her home to hang out with all day for very much longer!

 This little girl has so much love for everyone and everything! She treats everyone like they are her best friend, and she radiates with the most fantastic light i have seen!

 Don't let her sweet looks fool you though! She has got attitude, and she is the boss.. she does what she wants and it has to be her idea or she won't do it:) That is real fun! We are working on it!!  Every morning we have a slight meltdown when she wakes up and wants to go to Disneyland and I say that we can't! I reassure her that we are going to go soon, but dang it she wants to go today (EVERYDAY)

 She has an adventerous spirit, and is always out exploring! She has quite the imagination and i am grateful for that and love helping her to expand it!

 She is love with her Dad, and I don't blame her.. he is pretty fantastic! He loves her so much and is having even more anxiety about her going to school than I am! He is having a hard time wrapping his brain around the fact that she won't be with me all day everyday! "who is going to take care of her like we do meg?" i hear this all the time!

We love her so much and are so glad she was our first:) She is the best thing in the world! She teaches us something new everyday, and keeps us on our toes! I can't believe how much love i have for her!



11 Months:)

I can't believe it is here already, I feel like Lucy being a little baby is so long ago!

And Abbey.. she is a totally different little woman.. I am having a little bit of anxiety about how big she is getting preschool Wednesday is making me a little freaked out! 

I hate that you can forget so many memories so fast!

It's crazy how dramatically things can change in a year!

Lucy is changing so fast, she started walking last month.. this month she is running:)

 We went to the zoo a couple weeks ago.. she just yelled the whole time.. she loved the animals, and was so excited she just yelled whenever one walked passed the window and happened to catch her eye!

 She loves Abbey maybe a little too much.. Abbey has a few bald spots:( and lucy gets ALL the blame for those! She has started giving kisses and sometimes you get a little nibble if you aren't careful and Abbey is not careful enough yet!

 She is a pretty good sleeper... she takes one nap now. She wasn't sleeping very good at night when she was taking 2 naps, so i tried to condense it into 1 nap and since then she sleeps all night pretty much!

 She is such a happy girl! she is always willing to flash a sweet smile at you and it makes me feel so grateful that she is in our family! I hope we can always help this little girl feel so happy!

 She eats anything we eat, and if we don't share with us she literally YELLS at us to give her the food! She loves blueberries and tomatoes just like Abbey does and I can't really think of anything we have given her that she doesn't like! We are pretty lucky with our good eaters:)

She has turned into a little girl and it really is exciting to see! I sinply adore this little girl and am excited to see what is to come for her:)

10 Months

This cute girl has become quite the little swimmer this summer.. we have been going to the pool every monday and sometimes more!

All she needs is a pair of arm floaties, and she is off..into the deep end (sort of freaks me out)



 She is really becoming quite the little friend, to people in the ward, and really anyone who is at the park at night when we are there!

 We had Julie, Kyndra, Kynsie, Walker and Karlee down for the 24th of July and it was so much fun:)

We are all still walking around wishing that they were here to play and talk with!!

I love seeing Abbey with her cousins, it reminds me of myself when I was little, my cousins were my best friends! I wanted to do everthing with them and I love seeing that same relationship form with her cousins!

These two cute girls are just about a month apart!

 These 3 are the funnest most dangerous team you could imagine!

 This is Abbey's most favorite place to be lately! She sure does love her Daddy!!

 We have been walking down to the park almost every night lately, she usually sits under one of the slides, and scoops the rocks in and out of this cup till it is almost 8:30 and then I usually am walking home with 2 crying girls, one is mad we stayed too long and one is mad we didn't stay long enough!

 This little cutie who is now 10 months old and WALKING!! has been so much fun this month! she can pretty much do anything she wants and is in charge she yells at us when we are eating things that she wants, and that is pretty much anything we ever eat, she doesn't like baby food anymore, she wants our food! Which is ok most of the time!

 She used to really only like me, but she is warming up to other people! She loves to come to Sunbeams with me, i don't like it too much she terrorizes the other kids, and causes caos, but she loves to play with other kids! Lane has been watching her more this month while Abbey and I go swimming together, and you can really tell how much they have bonded this month! I love seeing him be such a great dad to these cute girls!

 She is usually the one who makes Abbey mad, they are starting to fight a little more now that Lucy wants Abbeys toys! Abbey is having a hard time sharing and Lucy is just kind of mean to Abbey i find big huge chunks of abbey hair all over our house nowadays, and I am pretty sure there Abbey has 2 rather large bald spots!

She is such a good girl, and we are so happy to have her in our lucky family!

As for Lane and I we are staying busy keeping up with all the weeds and "projects" going on in our house

We have both been eating better, I have been working out, running (thats right i have been running lately) never thought i would ever run, i have lost 48 lbs and lane is down 15 or so!

I am so proud of all the hard work that i have done, i have been working my butt off and it is paying off!

I feel stronger physically, mentally and emotionally!

who knew that loosing weight would solve so many different problems:)
