The Sweats Come to Rock Springs:)

My sister in law Kyndra and her 3 kiddos came up for the weekend!
We were so glad. We had so much fun, and it was so fun to have family up in our neck of the woods:)
This is Kynsie with Lucy, she is the most mature 9 year old i have ever met! She is so sweet, and is always taking care of the "little" kids!
This is Walker with Abbey.. he is one of the cutest boys i know. i am so glad he is my nephew. Abbey and Lucy both love him so much, it took lucy at least 3 days to stop wandering around our house saying "Walker where are you"
 The Owens Grandkids:)
Karlee and Abs, they are 6 weeks apart, and I am so glad.. My best friends in the whole world are my cousins, and i am so glad that she has a built in best friend forever:)
 Think they look alike much:)

 Walker, Kyndra and Lu
I feel like I am so lucky to have such a great friendship with Kyndra.. it keeps getting better:)
I love you, and am so glad you came up!!

The Zoo

Lane had 2 days off in a row, and sometimes when he is really busy, they call him in on his days off, and the girls and I just needed a little Lane time, so we skipped town, and went to the zoo for the day!
I sometimes forget how fun it is to have a husband cause he is gone so much!

Then we spent the night at Grandma Julie & Papa Rons..
Abbey loves going and getting the eggs from the chickens.
It is nice sometimes to just get away from The Home Depot every once in a while:)
Now if i could just figure out a way to accidently forget his phone!

Splash Park

There is a really fun splash park here, we don't go as much as we should, but it is really close to our house, and its fun, especially when there are other kids there to help my kids actually get in the water..

The weird thing about Rock Springs is that it is not very hot, i think the hottest it has gotten this summer is maybe 90, and the water at the splash park isn't heated, so if the wind is blowing (which most of the time it is) It is really cold, so the girls don't get in the water very much.

Wyomings Big Show

The state fair is in Rock Springs, and it was really fun, we only went one night, but there was a ton of fun stuff to do.
They had a petting zoo, with tons of goats, sheep, pigs, and cows. then they had a ton of weird animals big huge cows that had horns as big as me and you could pet them and feed them, and every hour or so they would let kids milk a real cow.. sort of weird i thought..

I didn't realize how much i am allergic to animals and hay.. i think i am still sneezing my brains out!

Abbey wanted so bad to ride this horse, i didn't think she would make it alone, she is a nervous little girl, and there was no way we could do walk by her, but she insisted, and loved it..
I am learning that she is getting bigger whether i like it or not.. she is getting so much more independent, and I have a love hate relationship with this independence thing:)

They had tents full of strange animals, they had a lemur show, which was a huge hit and we stayed there for easily 30 minutes, they had sting rays that you could touch...
When we were leaving, Abbey wasn't ready, and was throwing one of her infamous fits.. she cried the whole way to the car, the whole way home, during a tub, and didn't stop til she fell asleep.
She was sure that the lemurs needed her to help them go to sleep.

Its times like these when we go to this kind of thing that i am reminded we don't live in Utah anymore.. its funny how different people are from place to place.
It is slowly starting to feel like home.
