Merry Early Christmas:)

So i decided i am a sucker, i couldn't wait till Christmas to give Abbey her present, for good reason.. we are going up to Heber/Wallsburg for Christmas and i didn't want to pack it up if she didn't really get it yet, but she loves it:) So it will be coming with us, but now that she has tried it it keeps her busy, and she loves getting close to the tree:) Its really fun to see her grow so much, she changes everyday! She is so close to crawling, she is getting better everyday! I just can't believe it! She turns 6 months old on the 2nd so we can't wait to see how much she weighs, i feel like she weighs a ton, but we weighed her over Thanksgiving and she was 19 lbs.. so i am curious what a month will do:) Anyway Merry Christmas! We will hopefully run into some of you over the break!

Abbey's New Talent

I HATE TEETHING COOKIES, unfortunatly Abbey loves them!

Abbey loves these messy cookies! They keep her busy for at least a half hour until she wants to do something else! I love the focus in her eyes and hands though! We got this hat a long time ago i think it is so so so funny, and she loves loves hats, so we just put funny ones on her all day and let her hang out in winter hats:)

5 months old:)

I really can't believe it has been 5 months already, its nuts! Where has time gone, it seemed like just yesterday it was warm and sunny and Lane and I were just getting the last minute things that you think you need done before the baby comes but after she comes they really don't! We weighed her the other day she weighs 19 1/2 lbs, i can't believe it she really is starting to look a little more like me, her cheeks are starting to get chubbier maybe thats why, her face is rounding out! She is rolling over like crazy and actually starting to try and figure out how to crawl, she is moving all over the place, she has her leg part figured out she just has to get her arms and legs to work together, I know it will happen just all of the sudden! Anyways i snapped a few pictures of her today, in some of them you can kinda see her trying to move around! It really is crazy! We are excited for Christmas and can't believe it is actually almost here, so Merry Christmas, we hope everyone has a great one:)

Abbey & Jack:)

Here is Abbey's best friend! (Well dog friend at least, she loves him so much!) She also loves Jacks mom and dad, when she gets older will probably want to hang out with them more than us cause they have Jack and are much cooler than us! (By the way Jack's mom and dad are Ash and Kyle) We had an awesome thanksgiving, it was the last time we will have thanksgiving at my moms cafe and cabins cause they sold them, so it was sort of bittersweet! We had the greatest surprise was that my cousin Jesi's hubby is in the Army and was in Iraq for his 3rd tour, we just came home, and we didn't think they would make it cause they live in Kentucky, but they drove 2 days and made it to thanksgiving, he is pretty much like a big brother to me and i love him just like a brother! He hadn't met Abbey, and they want to have another baby, they have a boy Conner who is the cutest thing you've ever seen but he is almost 3 and they are ready for another! So it was so fun to see Daniel with Abbey! I have really missed him and am so glad that he is safe, until he goes again:( We are so proud of him! Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving! Both my cute pregnant sisters don't even look it and they are due in February, they just look like they have a basketball in their shirts, you would never be able to tell from behind they were pregnant, it is probably the only gene that all 3 of us are so thankful for:) Also a picture of us decorating our tree, Abbey is pulling the same face as me and we didn't even mean to its crazy that she does the same face as me! It kinda freaks me out she is really starting to look like me more and more!

Happy Sunday

It was such a great day today, so we decided to hang out outside and play in the leaves, Abbey didn't really like the leaves too much she was more interested in her feet, but i got some cute shots of the little girl:) Lane has come up with a nickname for her, all the sudden we just started calling her Squish? Don't know why probably cause she is squishy! But that is what she has become!! Can't believe she is almost 5 months old! It goes way too fast! she is just moving like crazy! It won't be long till she is up crawling around!

Fish Lake

So today we thought it might be kinda fun to drive up to Fishlake cause its only like 30 minutes from our house, so we drove up there and were just enjoying the view and the drive, we got up there and it was really like a ghost town.. there was no one to be found anywhere.. kinda freaky actually! But we took some pictures of the family, with the tripod we got with our cheap deal camera! It was fun, i was freezing but lately i can't seem to ever get warm, i am really not looking forward to being cold all the time, last winter i had a baby to keep me warm, last winter i didn't sleep under the covers this winter i sleep under 2 big blankets and freeze! I don't know whats happened to me! Its really strange! Anyway here are some pictures of our little adventure! We think it will be much funner when there are other people up there, and there are green leaves or fall leaves, but there was just brown today, in a strange way it was still really pretty! The lake was really pretty it almost made you just want to jump in and go swimming!

My New Toy

Just a cute little picture to show you she has a toy she loves to carry around with her! She got this from my Grandpa Cowley, i tied a ribbon around the little dog like a leash and she just holds that ribbon for dear life! Its the first toy that she has really just loved. She could cry and this little dog and her fist of course calms her right down!

As we were sitting here, she was just a crying cause she is tired and she is really just used to me putting her down for a nap so when Lane does it she just cries a little longer than normal and then she settles right down, but we got her these new binkies that our nephew Walker can't have anymore, and he was trying to give it to her and lay her down and she was just screaming, so lane put her in hand and showed her how it goes in and she was fine, she just wanted to do it all by herself! Cracks me up, she is just like her dad! Let me do it:)

More Peas Please

Miss Abbey lately has been staring at everyone's food and just really trying to eat real food! So we decided to give her some peas tonight! She loved them and wanted to feed herself. What more could we ask for?
It looks like she doesn't really like them, but don't be fooled, she ate the whole jar and wanted more! She was just making sure that Lane got the spoon in her mouth right! She really liked it! I am so shocked at how fast she is growing up, i know it will only come faster, but it really has been so fun to watch her learn and grow the last 4 1/2 months! Can't wait for the rest!

Abbey's new doo

We bought this mullet for Megan's sister Ashley for her beagle for next Halloween. We forgot to take it to her this last weekend so last night we were just hanging out at the house and thought it would be funny to put it on Abbey. Everyone is always saying that she doesn't have alot of hair so there you go Abbey with a whole head of hair/mullet! she look so funny!

4 Month Stats

We just got back from the doctor and here are Abbey's stats..

17 lbs 8 oz. (she has gained 9 pounds in 4 months!)

25 inches long (5 inches longer than when she was born)

Shes a chunk, but she is so beautiful! We feel so lucky that she is healthy and that we haven't had any serious problems with her, and we hope that it stays that way!

Halloween/ 4 months:)

Abbey had a great first Halloween! We went up to Wallsburg/Midway to celebrate, we stayed in Wallsburg Thursday night and had a great day, Collin and his girlfriend Kaylee were there and Landon and Christina were there, they were all so great at entertaining abbey, she acutally hardly took a nap that day, which made me happy that night! Landon gave her a bite of his chocolate popsicle for her "4 month birthday" she loved it, i thought it would upset her tummy, but then i realized who her father is and that he can eat anything that is edible! Friday, we went down to provo and got boba drinks, if you have never had them, they are so wonderful, there aren't very many places to get them i have only found 1 in provo, and 2 in salt lake, so if anyone knows anywhere to get them we would love to know! then we got all dressed up for halloween, lane told me he didn't want to dress up, so i didn't worry about getting us costumes, so last minute he decided he wanted to.. so i was the only one who didn't dress up, oh well next year huh? He was a banana!

Its crazy today Abbey is 4 months old, can't really believe how much she has learned, she is grabbing anything anyone puts in front of her, and she sticks it all in her mouth! She loves to roll from her back to her tummy! We haven't been to the doctor to get her shots yet, but we will wednesday, she is around 17-18 lbs. she's a chunk, but oh so cute! We love love her:) But how could you not love this face? She also has gotten tons more hair, i can put gel in it and turn it into a mohawk! I do this really so that people will stop saying "Don't worry, my kid didn't have hair till she was 2" I want to hit them and tell them that she has hair!! I agree it is light it the front, but the back of it is dark dark brown, she actually has the mullet thing going on, but she has a poof on the top of her head!

Crazy MOM!

I have become a crazy mom who does dumb stuff to their kids and thinks its so cute!! The other day when we were looking through other peoples baby clothes that they gave us to look at, I just kept putting really ugly stuff on her and laughing cause she just looked ridiculous, i can't believe that there are really people who do that to their kids! I won't post any of the pictures of her in the crazy stuff cause there might be some of "those people" who read this, but i did put a pair of Abbeys pants on her head, and you can see it all in her expression!

I never thought that I could love like this! Everything that she does i just fall more and more in love! I never thought in a million years that my life would change quite like this! I also never really realized how much time it used to take me to get ready in the mornings, now i am just lucky to not have my hair in a pony tail! I love every minute of it! My life is now run by a 3 1/2 month old very dramatic demanding little woman! She had rice cereal for the first time this week and we discovered a new trait she gets from her daddy! GAS! She loved it but we didn't about a half hour after she ate:) Also just wanted to say how excited i am that my sisters Ash and Keara are both having babies in February and they are both going to be boys! YEAH! We are so excited!

Are these people really my relatives?

So we got a bag of clothes from Kyndra's neighbor and we were looking at them all and trying them on abbey.. most of them were pretty funny, there is this shirt that says "Are these people really my relatives" I think its so funny cause i can totally see her thinking that! There was also this funny hat that is bright green, i probably wouldn't take her out in this outfit cause she looks kinda like a boy, but its so stinkin cute! Anyway here it is! I can't believe how big she is getting she is 3 and a half months old and she is getting so big already 17 pounds! We love our little Buddah baby!

Our PhotoDynasty scare:)

About a year ago, i bought a new camera and my sister Ashley asked if she could have my old one.. it is a way nice camera, i just wanted something smaller and not so fancy.. (that was before Abbey) Well after she asked, we both just kind of forgot about it, and about 2 weeks ago she washed and dryed her camera.. so she remembered.. i had just started to use it again because it took much better pictures of the babe! So i gave it to her and convinced Lane that we needed a new one.. so we were looking online for a good deal on a new camera, we found this website that had the camera that we like for like 300 dollars cheaper than we had found it anywhere else, and it came with a really nice lense, and all of these extra fun accesories.. so we thought that it was just going to be some scam, but being the tight wads we are we decided that if it was legit, we would have gotten a sweet deal.. IT WASN'T A SCARE! We got the nicest new camera for a way good deal, so if anyone is looking for a new camera http://www.photodynasty.com/ is a place to get a good deal.. So with our new camera, i took a bunch of pictures of Abbey.. I can't believe that it has almost been 3 months.. time has gone by so fast, i can only imagine how fast it is going to go by.. I have just really been enjoying being home and being with Abbey, I couldn't bring her to a babysitter right now. I am so blessed.. I have a great hubby who wants me to stay home and take care of her, and when he comes home he is so happy and wants to play with us! He works so hard to take care of us, and make it so i don't have to work! We are coming up to Park City, my sister Ash works at the Canyons, so we are all going up for a couple days to hang out and go to the Fruit Highway.. and then i am going to stay up there for the whole week because Ashley finds out if she is having a boy or girl! And it is her birthday and my brother Cody's then that Saturday Lane is going to come up and Kyndra is blessing Karlee!

Abbey's Blessing

We decided to finally bless Abbey this weekend, so we went up to Midway to do it. We went up friday to go to swiss days, it was so fun, both my sisters came up, and we had such a great time! So Elder Holland is in my parents ward, and i guess he is gone most of the time, but lucky for us, he was there, so our lucky little girl got to have him stand in the circle. How many little girls get one of the 12 apostles to hold their little foot? He told Lane that he said the perfect blessing, i couldn't agree more:)

New Baby in the fam:)

This Wednesday we went up to heber again because Lane's sister Kyndra had her 3rd little baby.. Karlee Ane Sweat she weighed 6lbs 11oz.. almost 2 lbs lighter than our little Buddah! She just a little girl, but we are so excited that Abbey will have a cousin her same age! Also while we were up there we went to the mall and saw the perfect Halloween costume for abbey..she is going to be a caterpillar! So cute:)
