I have decided to do AT LEAST a monthly post!!

I am trying to be better where we are a little farther away!

February seemed to be a really fast month!

Lane went to Atlanta for work for the week of Valentines, so Lucy and I went to Abbeys preschool play.

Its so strange to see her growing up, seeing her be scared or nervous to perform in front of people! She is such a shy little girl!

I think that Lucy will be so different, she is the loudest girl i have ever met!

She started jumping from EVERYTHING!

She has tipped one of our chairs over, and her mouth bled for about 5 minutes, I was nervous she messed up her teeth! And right after she was done crying i heard the chair rocking again!

She jumps off of our table, and falls flat on her face jumps up and does it again!

This little woman is giving me serious anxiety, i can't watch her enough!

She has gotten so much better at words, she says sorry alot, it seems like her biting phase is over for the most part, and now she pinches, and i would rather have her bite me!

I love the learning part of this age, she is so eager to learn everything that she can, but it is so hard cause she gets into EVERYTHING!!

Abbey is loving school, and is getting so much better at tracing letters and coloring in the lines, she is changing so fast! She is starting to try and be the mommy, I hear her saying "Lucy we have to share, if you want to go to the pool you have to be nice to me"

When Lucy was born Abbey never really wanted anything to do with her, she would kiss her every once in a while, but she wasn't really into the whole baby thing! I thought that it would take a long time for them to become friends, and they fight like sisters, i hear them screaming at each other at least once a day. I love that they have each other! I see Abbey starting to watch out for Lucy, and I think it is so great to see their relationship change as Lucy understands more!

Lane has been working his butt of seriously.. I don't think i have seen him for more than 5 hrs at a time! He is loving his job, so i think it makes it really easy for him to be there all the time! We are lucky to be only a couple blocks from the store!

I have been feeling a little bored lately, lane and I decided to try Jillian Michaels new Body Revolution, it has only been a week, but it is fun to do something together! Ask me how much i love it in another month:) We both are trying to get rid of our last 10 lbs! It is easier said than done, i have been trying since October! We have just had so much going on, that I have had a hard time focusing and getting back into weight loss mode.. I can exercise all day long, its the food thing that is proving harder to get back into than i thought it would!

Dinosaurs

They have a history museum at the local college, so we went over to check it out today!! It was fun they have a few dinosaurs that were all found in Wyoming and a few fossils of turtles that were kinda freaky!!

January

Lane had moved to Rock Springs, so it was just me and the girls most of the month!

We had the HUGE task of packing all of our stuff, getting our house rented, taking care of all the loose ends!

I can't believe we survived! Thanks to my mom, my grandma cowley, and Ashley!

New Years day, we spent riding 4 wheelers, some people went sledding in the mountains where I heard there was a little bit of snow! I pretty much stayed right by the fire!

It was fun, and a good way to spend time with some really special people!

 We had the rental truck the day before Lane came home, so i could start loading it.. my mom, grandma and sister came over to help me load and clean what we could! By the end of the day EVERYTHING was loaded but our bed and a few other things!

Lane came home and cleaned out his shed, and loaded a few things we couldn't and the last minute clean up and we were off..

 After trying to get this stupid Budget truck to start for 2 hours!

Those are the only pictures i took I could kick myself for not taking pictures of our house!

I miss it alot, it was our first house and there are so many sweet memories we made there.

I miss the town, and the people!

I cried as I drove to Rock Springs!

 BUT.. I really like it here! It may be desolate, but I have such a great feeling about it here!

The girls are happy with there new house, and so am I!

I actually like the wind when we are inside and have a hard time sleeping when its not blowing now!

 Lucy is a pro at the stairs and hasn't fallen down them once!

 Our first day at church, we found out that we have a REALLY young ward!

It's so fantastic, seriously there are 90 kids in the primary!

They have 3 sunbeam classes, which means there are more than enough friends for Abbey!

There are about 12-15 kids in nursery and Lucy goes in a couple months so there are going to be lots of kids to play with!

Church is so different when you aren't in Utah!

 Lane and I turned 25 this month, my mom and Ashley came up for my birthday, and It was so fun to have them up here! We went to the rec center here (that is fantastic and a post in and of itself)

Went and ate chinese/sushi and had birthday cake!

 We said Goodbye to Ashley and the boys:( They are moving to Australia for 2 years, and we might not see them in 2 years! Which means these 2 cuties will be 3 or 4 years old:(

 And these little cuties will be 5 or 6!! WHAT?!!

Kindergarten bound!

I am so excited for 2012! I think it will be a year of change and growth in our family!

We are getting stronger as a family, and I am so thankful for Rock Springs,

it is our turning point, Lane's career is going to explode from all of the great things he is going to accomplish here, and I KNOW that he is going to get his own store from things that happen here!!



December

 December was seriously SO crazy for us!

Lane got a job interview in Rock Springs, Wyoming!

It was his 3rd interview for the same job!

They hunted him down, so I figured he had a really good chance of getting it this time!

SO.. we took a overnight trip up there to interview and see what kind of a place it was!

OH MAN!! Let me tell you! If you haven't seen it, first impression, I was terrified!

It was freezing cold, and the wind was something i have NEVER experienced before!

While lane was is his interview i drove around, and I now know I went to the sketchy part of town, but i was so scared that we would have to move!

He came out of his interview and did so good! He really clicked with the store manager and had already met and loved the other 2 ASMs, so we drove around to see what kind of housing they had!

We found some really nice apartments.. but the apartments were double the price we were paying for our house and half acre in Monroe!

We left and on the way home he got a call saying that he pretty much had it, and that they district managers wanted to meet with him the next day!

So long story short he accepted the job, and was told he had to be in Rock Springs the day after Christmas!

So we had planned a trip to Disney with Ash and Kyle, the week before Lane had to do a weeks worth of training! It was a blast and I am sort of sad that we were feeling the pressure of EVERYTHING we had to get done back at home!!

 I am such a lame mom!! I can only find this picture of Christmas morning! Seriously we had such a great christmas with some pretty great people. and this is what I got! At least, it is a HAPPY little girl, who loved Christmas this year!

November

I can't believe how long it has been.. Here is November! 

I put our tree up right after Halloween!

My dad would kill me, but i promised Lane i wouldn't decorate it till after Thanksgiving!

I am not the type to leave my tree up till New Years,

usually the day after Christmas all our stuff comes down!

 I love this picture, and i think that i will cherish the moments like this forever!

It is something SO special to see your Grandma teaching your kids the same things they taught you~

We were so lucky to live so close to her!

She is the most special thing in the world:)

 We had Thanksgiving, it was delicious and there were hundreds of people there which meant the girls didn't see me hardly at all!

I have so much to be thankful for! 2 BEAUTIFUL, healthy, happy (most of the time) girls!

A husband, who is the hardest working, loving dad and hubby, he works so hard and such long hours to make sure we are taken care of!

I adore him and can't believe how far we have come:)

Halloween

We had a great Halloween!

Lucy had 3 different costumes throughout the month and Abbey just wanted to wear a pretty dress! We made cheesecloth ghosts

53 Pounds

I have made a lot of significant changes this year.. I remember this time last year I was pretty miserable.. Lucy was such a great baby, but i was having a hard time nursing her, and kept getting mastitis and it just wasn't working.. I was sore because I had to have a c-section and to top it all off.. I had gained a TON of weight with sweet little Lucy! I remember thinking something has to get better.. i started loosing my weight.. i was exercising eating pretty good, and it was slowly coming off.. then thanksgiving came and I gained most of it back, all but about 10lbs! I was reading one of Lane's mission friends blog, and she totally inspired me!

I am going to put it all out there.. numbers and everything! How fun right!

Right before I had Lucy weighed in at 201

I remember my sister being in the room and them asking me how much I weighed and feeling so embarrassed that I actually weighed that much!

After she was born, there are virtually no pictures of me.. but for we took a family picture the night we celebrated Lane's birthday! I looked at them that night and was just so mad that at what I had done.. I wasn't happy, and in turn it was making everyone else in our house grumpy!

I think i was about 185 or 190 here!

It wasn't long after this that i bought a bodybugg! It really made me want to change!

I didn't even really exercise all that much at first, i just kept track of what I ate and once the weather got good the girls and i walked ALOT!! I mean we would go for 5,6, 7 mile walks every night after dinner!

Now.. 10 months later i am at 148 and am really close to being where i want to be...

I lost 53 pounds in 10 months!

I remember reading Love's blog telling myself that when i loose my weight i will blog about it too!

I know that it is such a mental battle and once you get your head in the game the rest is easy!

It wouldn't be a fun blog if there weren't any pictures of these sweet things:)
