Our Magical Halloween

We had the BEST Halloween.. We went to California with Ashley, Kyle and Will! We went to Disneyland, California Adventure, Santa Monica Pier and a little Aquarium! We had the best time EVER! I am so sad we are home! We will definitally be going back soon (hopefully)

The weather was awesome, and the park wasn't really all that busy to our surprise!

To Lane's surprise he found Disneyland to be a magical place just like i do.. for the first time that he remembers he went on all the kid rides like Alice in Wonderland, and he kept saying i don't think i have ever been on these rides, it was so nice to have him really enjoy being there.. (he has always told me that he didn't like Disneyland, that it was kinda stupid cause there weren't any big rides, and so he has never wanted to go with me!)

Grandmas House & Manning Meadows

We have had the best couple of days! My dad, Weston, Cody and Hunter all came down for 3 days to ride 4 wheelers and just hang out at my grandmas which is about 20 minutes from our house! I have felt like a little girl again going to grandmas and hanging out with my cousins! All my Uncle Davids kids were down there, and they were making their Halloween costumes so i got to help the girls and my cousin Nate who is in 7th grade played with Abbey.. he was so cute I have never seen a 7th grader (especially a boy) be so interested in playing with a little girl! He just loved her they were outside on the swing for a good hour then they watched finding nemo inside she just sat on his lap they shared treats and she fell asleep! It was so cute! Plus this is her first time meeting him! She has had a blast being with these kids:) She was making it hard to play crouqet.. moving the hoops!

It was so cold i had at least 3 sweaters on! We were sad to see that all the leaves were gone, but it was a fun ride:)

We are so lucky to live in a place where you can ride your 4 wheelers on the road.. you see more people riding 4 wheelers than cars:) We left right from our house and rode about an hour and a half up the mountain! Abbey did awesome she loves riding and i am so glad cause we love to do it, we really need to do it more! It was fun to have my dad and brothers there! We don't get to spend much time with them and we were glad that they came down to see us!

We Are Alive!

We are alive and well.. not much is going on! Just enjoying the fall weather and spending lots of time outside! We definitally have spent more time outside since it has been cold.. wierd i know but the cold air just feels so good! Abbey is running everywhere. there is no stopping her! Its fun but tonight my mom and ken were at our house for dinner, and when they left Abbey went outside after them.. she opened our door all by herself and stood on the porch wanting to go with my mom! I guess we will have to find something to stop that! She is talking more and more, she knows a few signs and it helps so... much! Here are a few pics haven't taken very many.. wierd for me i usually take a picture every day:) We went to the Pumpkin Patch in Elsinore, so much fun! Totally redneck as you can see the wrecked car in the back, but it was SO FUN! We got tons of pumpkins and abbey has a baby one that she loves to carry around! My mom and Ken also got her a U shirt, so I guess she is a U fan.. Lane and I don't really care so much, but I love the shirt, and so I guess she will like the Utes:)

The Good Stuff

Lane & I watched the Biggest Loser last night... it was so awesome, heart breaking the story of Abby! I look at my life and think if I lost Lane and Abbey I would be devistated and I don't know how I could find the strength to be go on and find peace and happiness let alone want to wake up! Lane kept saying how do you think she can still cry do you think one person can have enough tears after they lose their husband and 2 kids? It was really really sweet to watch it with Lane usually he is the one laughing at me cause I cry at everything especially that show dangit! But last night FINALLY i looked over at him and he had glossy eyes! Now i know he is human:) It truly makes me believe that I can be stronger! It makes me want to be a better mom and wife, and just really appreciate the wonderful life that I have and realize that we have everything that we need together and I am just really so so so blessed to have such a wonderful husband! Now if you haven't watched the Biggest Loser go to NBC.com and watch last nights episode!

We made cookies yesterday with Keara and her kids, Ash, Will, Abbey, Me and my mom... by the end of the process it was just the sisters decorating all 1500 cookies it seemed like! Keara is leaving to Hawaii next Thursday, and I always knew how much i would miss her but i guess i didn't fully realize that it was going to be so much i layed awake last night just thinking about her and how much i will miss her! If someone would have told me 10 years ago how much my sisters would mean to me i would say ya right! I don't really have too many friends, I have my sisters, they are my best friends! And I will really miss seeing Keara! I will miss her kiddos and hubby but not like i will miss her! So i took some pictures yesterday so here they are!Before

Sharpie Wall

I truly am a really strange girl always have been and probably always will be.. i have had a box FULL of Sharpie markers for as long as I can remember I have always just been really creative (or a doodler)... I hardly ever use them only when I make a cd or something like that, well yesterday I thought that we would do something fun and creative in Abbeys room... so we drew on her walls made flowers and it was so fun!

Yuba Lake

We went camping this last weekend, with all my sisters and my mom! It was so fun, we were going to go boating but it was really really windy, and one night it rained, but it was so fun, I haven't been camping for way too long! Lane had to work, so it was just me and Abbey! I put up and took down our tent all by myself, i know that sounds so lame, but i just had never really done it, and honestly Lane or my dad usually sets up my tent! Our tent was the only girls tent... everyone else had a boy in theirs, we really did have alot of fun! At night we would just lay there and stare at the top of the tent and listen to the wind and just laugh! She is becoming such a ham! She just thinks she is the funniest thing! She is walking more and more everyday! I think that camping helped.. i don't really know why she didn't want to crawl on the rocks up there, cause she crawls on our rock driveway all the time? Whatever works I guess!

The first day we were up there my sister Keara's little girl Ellie was over playing in the dirt just happy and having fun and then all the sudden she started crying.. apparently she wasn't playing in the dirt, at Yuba there were hundreds of HUGE red ant hills.. i have never seen so many in my entire life, but she was just sitting on a big huge ant hill! They crawled in her diaper and she got some bites on her little bum and the one that really made her cry was the one on her finger! She said that she was just trying to play with them! She is the nudist in our family she is naked more than she is clothed!

Lane works for the Home Depot down here in Richfield, right now he is the Lumber Supervisor, but one of our Assistant Managers just got fired, so there is a postion open, with Home Depot in order to become an Assistant Manager, you have to take a test called a RMA.. so our store manager made a list of all the Department Supervisors that he wanted to take it and sent it off to his boss and his boss then decided who he would allow to go... Lane was the ONLY name that he approved! He is such a hard worker and really wants this, it is nice to see his hard work being recognized, so he will take the test in Cedar City next Tuesday, and then he can apply for the job and get an interview with our manager! I think that he has an AWESOME chance, really his only competition is someone from another store, and we aren't sure how many people are going to come clear down here! It would be a big raise and AWESOME benefits for us! So we are hoping that he will get it! He would be awesome at it! I am really proud of him! He really works so hard so that we can have such a great life, and I am a lucky little woman:)
